Privacy Policy
Effective October 29, 2026
This policy explains what information Servanto collects, how we use it, who we share it with and how you can have it deleted. Servanto is a product of Lynxedo LLC ("Lynxedo," "we," "us" or "our"). This policy covers the Servanto web app, the Servanto mobile and desktop apps, the Servanto browser extension, our AI receptionist and this website.
The short version
- Servanto is business software. Your company decides what goes into it, and the data belongs to your company.
- We use your data only to run your account. We do not sell it, rent it or use it for advertising.
- We never use one customer's data to analyze, compare against or compete with that customer.
- We do not use your data to train AI models.
- When you disconnect a connected service, we delete its access keys right away and delete the data we copied from it within 30 days.
- When you leave, you can export your data, and we then delete it.
1. Who controls the data
Servanto is sold to businesses, which we call subscribers. A subscriber's owners, office staff and field technicians use Servanto as users. Information about a subscriber's own customers, leads and callers is customer data.
For customer data and everything a subscriber's team puts into Servanto, the subscriber is in control and we process the data on the subscriber's behalf and on its instructions. If you are a homeowner or caller and want to access or delete information a company holds about you, please contact that company first. We will help them respond. For account, billing and website information, Lynxedo decides how the data is used, as described here.
2. What we collect
Account and profile information
Name, work email, phone number, role and the permissions your administrator gives you. You sign in with Google, Apple or a one-time code sent to your email. We do not store passwords.
Customer and job records
Customer names, addresses, phone numbers and emails; properties, programs and service history; leads and their sources; quotes, jobs, visits, line items, invoices and balances; notes, photos, inspection results and materials used on a job.
Calls, voicemail and texts
When your company uses Servanto for phone and text: phone numbers, call times and lengths, text message content and attachments, and voicemail audio. If your administrator turns on call recording, call audio is recorded. Recordings and voicemails may be transcribed and summarized.
AI receptionist conversations
When our AI receptionist answers a call or text for your company, we keep the conversation transcript, what the caller asked for and what was done, such as a lead created, a visit booked or a call transferred.
Team messages, files and tasks
Messages in rooms and direct messages, files you upload and task boards.
If your company connects a mailbox to the shared inbox, we sync the messages in that mailbox. If your company sends email campaigns, we keep the lists, the messages and delivery, open and click results.
Time, location and fleet
Clock-in and clock-out times and, if your administrator turns it on, your device's location at the moment you clock in or out. We do not track your location continuously. If your company connects a fleet GPS service, we show the location of company vehicles.
Billing
Company name, billing contact and invoices. Card and bank payments are handled by our payment processor, Stripe. We never see or store full card numbers.
Technical information
Device and browser type, app version, IP address, error logs, and push notification tokens if you turn on notifications.
3. Connected services
An administrator can connect Servanto to other software the company uses, such as field-service scheduling, accounting, payroll, fleet GPS, advertising and lead platforms, and social media. Each connection is made through that service's own sign-in screen. Your administrator chooses to approve it, and can disconnect it at any time.
- What we read: only what the features you use need. From a field-service scheduling platform, for example, that means clients, properties, requests, quotes, jobs, visits, invoices, users and line items.
- What we write: only changes your team makes in Servanto, such as rescheduling a visit from the route optimizer, adding a note or creating a lead or quote. Nothing is written without a user action or a setting your administrator turned on.
- How it is stored: we keep a synced copy of records from the scheduling platform so routes, work orders and reports load quickly. Access keys for connected services are kept on our servers, are never shown in the app and are used only to sync your account.
- When you disconnect: we delete that service's access keys right away and stop syncing. Data we copied from it is deleted within 30 days, unless you reconnect in that time or ask us in writing to keep it. Records your team created in Servanto itself, like texts and call logs, stay in your account until you delete them or close your account.
Each connected service's own privacy policy and terms also apply to the data it holds.
4. How we use data
We use data only to provide, support and improve Servanto for the subscriber it belongs to:
- Signing you in and showing each person only what their permissions allow
- Placing, receiving, routing and recording calls, and sending and receiving texts and email for your company
- Answering calls and texts with the AI receptionist when your company turns it on
- Building routes, work orders, reports and scoreboards from your records
- Syncing with the services your administrator connected
- Sending notifications you asked for
- Billing, customer support, security, preventing abuse and fixing problems
- Meeting legal obligations, such as phone carrier registration rules
What we never do: sell or rent data; use it for advertising; or use one subscriber's data to benchmark, analyze or compete with that subscriber or to help anyone else do so. Lynxedo's owner also runs a lawn care and irrigation company. That company is one Servanto subscriber among others and has no access to any other subscriber's data.
We may use counts and measurements that do not identify any subscriber or person, such as how many calls the AI receptionist answered across all accounts, to run and improve the service.
5. AI features
Servanto's AI features include the AI receptionist, call and voicemail transcription and summaries, suggested replies, and the in-app assistant. To provide them, the relevant text, audio or images are sent to the AI providers listed below for processing.
- We do not use your data to train AI models.
- Our main AI provider, Anthropic, does not train its models on data sent through its commercial API.
- AI output can be wrong. Your team should review anything important before relying on it.
- Your administrator controls which AI features are on, including whether the AI receptionist answers calls.
6. Who we share data with
We share data only with the service providers that run Servanto (our sub-processors), only as much as each one needs, and under contracts that require them to protect it.
| Provider | What it does for us |
|---|---|
| Supabase | Database and sign-in |
| Hetzner | Application servers, located in the United States |
| Cloudflare | File storage, network security, website delivery and domain email |
| Twilio | Phone calls, text messages, voicemail and call recording |
| Anthropic | AI receptionist, summaries, suggestions and assistant |
| Deepgram | Speech-to-text for recordings and voicemail |
| ElevenLabs | Voice for the AI receptionist |
| Resend | Sending email |
| Nylas | Syncing connected mailboxes for the shared inbox |
| Mapbox | Maps, address lookup and drive times |
| Stripe | Billing and payments |
| Google and Apple | Sign-in and push notifications |
Data also flows to the services your administrator connects (see section 3), because that is the point of the connection. We may also disclose data if the law requires it, to protect people's safety or our rights, or as part of a merger or sale of Lynxedo. In a sale, this policy would continue to apply to your data.
7. Retention and deletion
- While you subscribe: we keep your data so your team can use it, and you can delete records in the app.
- Disconnected services: access keys are deleted right away and copied data within 30 days (see section 3).
- When you leave: you can ask for an export of your data for 30 days after your subscription ends. After that, we delete your company's data from our live systems. Copies in backups are removed as backups expire, within 90 days.
- Legal holds: we keep invoices and records we must keep by law, and anything we are legally required to preserve, only as long as required.
8. Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Each subscriber's data is separated from every other subscriber's, and each user sees only what their role allows. Our own access to subscriber data is limited to what support, security and keeping the service running require. No system is perfectly secure. If we learn of a breach affecting your data, we will tell you without undue delay, and within 72 hours of confirming it.
9. Text messaging
Subscribers use Servanto to text their own customers. Each subscriber is responsible for having its customers' consent to receive texts. Anyone can reply STOP to stop receiving texts from a number, or HELP for help; message and data rates may apply. We do not share mobile phone numbers or text messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing. Mobile numbers are shared only with the phone carriers and sub-processors that deliver the messages.
10. Mobile apps and browser extension
- Microphone: used only to carry your voice on calls you make or take in the app.
- Camera and photos: used only when you choose to attach a photo or scan a document.
- Location: used only at the moment you clock in or out, if your administrator turns it on.
- Notifications: used to alert you to calls, messages and tasks. You can turn them off in your device settings.
- Browser extension: reads a web page only when you click it to save a contact or lead from that page, and sends only what you choose to save to your Servanto account.
11. This website
This marketing website does not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels, and it does not sell visitor information. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as IP address and pages visited, for security. The site loads its fonts from Google Fonts. If you email us, we use your message only to reply and to follow up about Servanto.
12. Your choices and rights
You can see and update most of your information in the app, and your administrator can update or remove the rest. You can also email us to ask for a copy of your information, a correction or a deletion. Depending on where you live, including under Texas and California law, you may have legal rights to access, correct, delete or get a copy of personal data, and to opt out of its sale or use for targeted advertising. We do neither of those. We will not treat you differently for using these rights. If we hold data on behalf of a subscriber, we will pass your request to that subscriber and help them answer it.
13. Children
Servanto is for businesses and is not meant for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
14. Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will tell subscriber administrators by email or in the app before it takes effect.
